Our dental office space has been designed to maximize patient comfort and reduce patient anxiety. A patient survey was taken to understand what typically made patients anxious about their dental experience. In response to what we learned, we developed design guidelines for every aspect of dental office design, practicing dentistry, and serving patients.
The guidelines were then interpreted into our actual design by redefining office function and layout with the patients’ needs in mind. Our architect selected materials, colors, furnishings and lighting to convey a sense of warmth, hospitality and refined aesthetics.
Our patients’ reactions have been overwhelmingly positive and we are very proud of the results.
Please visit our office and we will be glad to give you a tour.
Commitment to Infection Control
Tremont Dental Care is committed to finding the best technology available to keep our practice safe for both patients and staff. We take universal precautions with all our patients using the same protective measures to prevent transmission of the virus that causes AIDS or any other infectious diseases. These infection control procedures include:
- Wearing protective eyewear; disposable gloves and masks
- Washing hands before and after each treatment
- Changing gloves and all other disposable items after each patient
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces in the treatment room after each patient
- Sterilizing all instruments between patients
- Properly disposing of waste items and contaminated material
All metal instruments are treated in an ultrasonic cleansing bath and sterilized in an autoclave under high temperature and pressure. We subscribe to an independent laboratory service that monitors weekly the effectiveness of our autoclave.
We want you to be comfortable knowing we take every step possible to assure complete safety and protection. We welcome any questions and concerns you may have about AIDS and our infection control procedures.
